The Department of Agriculture, Haryana, Gurgaon is doing following activities for the welfare/benefit/ upliftment of the  farmers during current Rabi 2007-2008 season. 

1.  ISOPOM Scheme

a)             Minikits:- Under the integrated  scheme of oil seeds, Pulses, oil Palm and maize, 4000 Minikits of Mustad (2kgs each) and 100 Minikits of Gram (8 Kgs each) have been distributed free of cost among the farmers.

b)             Block Demonstration (on 50% subsidy):- Block demonstration on 150 hectares and 18 hectares respectively of Mustard & Gram have been laid out on 50% subsidy.

c)             Spray pumps (on 50% subsidy):- 500 Knap-sack spray pumps on 50% subsidy are being supplied to the to the farmers of the District. Out of which 80 have already been sold.

d)             Gypsum (on 75% subsidy):- To promote oil seed crops, 1000 M. Tons of Gypsum @ 75% subsidy was to be provided & the target has been achieved.

e)             Farmer’s Training Camp:- To make aware about the improved agriculture in rabi crops like Wheat, Gram, Barley, Mustard & Lentil,  a district level Farmer’s Training Camps has been organized.

f)               Supply of Cultures (on 50% subsidy):- 1000 cultures each of Raizobium & PSB have been supplied to farmers on 50% subsidy @ Rs. 5/- each.

2.   MMM Scheme:- Under the Macro Management Mode, the Following activities are being organized for the benefit of the farmers of the district.

(a)         Demonstrations:- 4 demonstration on wheat (one acre each) have been organizes & a subsidy of 1000/- per acre has been provided.

(b)         Vermi compost:- To maintain soil health & promote vermi-culture, 100 units of vermi-compost are planned to be set up on farmers fields and Rs. 1200/- per unit subsidy will be given with a maximum benefit of 4 unit per farmer.

(c)         Agiculture Implements:- keeping in view the higher price & low purchase capicity of the farmer, the fallowing culture  are planned  to be provided on 25% subsidy.
